a beautiful stay
quality beddingbottled waterawkward entrance
i was grateful for the room. it had good quality bedding and the bathroom smelt nice. there was plenty of tea, coffee, and milk plus bottled water available. we enjoyed breakfast the next day and were seated at a table overlooking the valley.
I found the entrance to be very awkward. It could be a health hazard for elderly people.

the building adapted to modern living. all staff were friendly and helpful on telephone and face to face, i thought. this is a winning formula.

the location is beautiful and perfect for exploring the countryside. it is a gem with magnificent views and steeped in fascinating history. i loved it!

the food was excellent. there was also a nice atmosphere in the bar. we tried some recommended gins. the service was very friendly too.

the room was very comfy and tidy. it had two windows overlooking the back hill and side of the hotel. we felt comfortable, the view was nice.
